Sandy Giangreco Brown is the Director of Coding & Revenue Integrity at CliftonLarsonAllen, LLP. (CLA) She is an AHIMA Approved ICD-10-CM Trainer specializing in Physician Practices and Outpatient Hospitals and also has experience in the HIM, Chargemaster and the Inpatient Hospital side of business. She has more than 31 years of experience in healthcare and medical records management, coding, auditing and compliance in the hospital, outpatient and physician settings.
Kim Huey is an independent coding and reimbursement consultant, providing audits, training, and oversight of professional coding. She completed three years of pre-medical education at the University of Alabama before she decided that she preferred the business side of medicine. Ms. Huey has multiple certifications in coding and compliance through the American Academy of Professional Coders, American Health Information Management Association, and the Health Care Compliance Association. For over thirty years, she has worked with providers in virtually all specialties, including general surgery, obstetrics/gynecology, oncology, podiatry, chiropractic, internal medicine.
